April Demes writes about life, gardening, and other arts when she isn’t practising them. She is an award winning poet, has published articles in various magazines and websites, and is working on a two or three immature books. She has been invited as a speaker at various forums and events.
April enjoys guitar and piano playing, kayaking, reading, singing, hiking, photography, acting, teaching junior high drama classes, and baking muffins.
April is married to Christopher, an artist and storyteller, and together they are raising five children, a puppy, and several chickens. The cat takes care of himself.
